Episode 2 is also shot in black and white as we are in 60's however towards the end of the episode the show goes from black and white as we begin to enter the 70's in episode 3. Episode 2 begins with a cartoon introduction similar to that of the show Bewitched. Though Bewitched makes up most of the inspiration of WandaVision’s second episode, its influence can also be found in episode 1. When Wanda uses her powers to make recipe cards float all around her in the first episode, the show uses a simple string special effect that was also used in Bewitched. The colour change at the episode is also a reference to Bewitched as first 74 episodes were shot in black and white before switching to colour for its next 180.
